Suzanne long term travel
Hello! My name is Suzanne and I am in LOVE with exploring the world. Coming from a little corner of the world called New Zealand, I could have easily grown up pretty isolated from the rest of this beautiful planet but I have been lucky enough to travel on an off since 2011. However, in 2015 I took the plunge and decided to quit my job, pack up my life and explore the world with no specific end date.

While travelling, the two most common questions I get are: What has been your favourite destination? And how do you afford to travel long term? And this my friend is why, Work and Travel Muse was born, to share the answers to these questions with all of you.

I have a confession to make… I love lists. Many of my destination articles will consist of listing my favourite things. I know there are some people out there that hate this style, but I’m sorry (not sorry…), I love them! When I am travelling to new destinations, my favourite and by far the easiest way to find out the best things to do is to search blogs for other people’s lists of favourite and unique things to do.

And then there is the biggest question of all, how do I afford to travel? I may have had a bit of savings in the bank but with no specific end date, travelling on a tight budget was key. I used a number of different techniques to stretch my savings while still having an amazing time and I would love to give you the tools to do the same.
